Hotel Luna

visited this hotel a couple of nights. the facilities, meaning pool, little bar and common areas including toilets by the pool was nice tidy and clean. enough sun beds by the pool and a nice place to relax. the staff was ok, not the best English, but good enough. The breakfast was better than other places I have been in Italy. unfortunately it is right next to a busy street, the rooms was not as good as they should be. shower/bath tub had problems with knobs being loose or broken, the air condition in the rooms did not work properly. The room had a funny smell, which can be the air condition lacking Maintenance. This led to the room being very hot and the air heavy.

They did not fix the shower and when i asked for repair they started shouting at me claiming that the shower head was normal. The spikes were missing and the water did not flow like a shower. Moreover they kicked me out of the breakfast room just because i asked to stay 10 more minutes after the closing time at 10:00 am. Nervous and impolite people. Never again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The reception staff was untrained and incompetent. The rooms are nicely remodelled but very poorly insulated. We could hear everything going on in the corridor, pool area and breakfast room. The hotel is located beside a very busy and noisy street. The hotel is located in an industrial area. Nice mattress, bad pillows. First, I sent an email a week before arrival to ask about activities in cinque terre. My email went unanswered. Upon arrival we requested information regarding train schedules, ferry schedules, etc. To which their answer was "I don't know." Simple tasks like calling a cab were challenging. When we checked in the receptionist gave us the wrong times for breakfast. I called to double check and another person at the reception gave the wrong times so we missed it on the second morning. The waitress was nice enough and gave us some coffee and cereal.
